Objectives:

Based on the outcomes and recommendations from the I Forum of Champion Countries in the Americas, the meeting seeks to:

• Contribute to the Second Regional Review of the GCM in Latin America and the Caribbean;
• Enhance mechanisms for information sharing and best practices on migration governance;
• Improve international cooperation on migration governance in line with regional and global 
  frameworks, particularly the GCM and its guiding principles
